Tim says "Tennis players that are new to Platform have a great edge because their racket skills are so advanced. But tennis players, especially big hitting men, can become frustrated when their power shots don't give them instant results. I've been around both sports enough to help people apply strong tennis skills to this totally new environment."
Eileen and Tim Goode are the founders and owners of MPTC. They both began playing Platform Tennis in the early ninetys in Boulder, Colorado.

Eileen is a native of Southern California and played college tennis at the Division III level for Chico State. She taught tennis professionally and was USPTA rated. Eileen is an active national Platform Tennis tournament player and a former WI. State Closed champion. She also competes in womens NTRP tennis.

Tim is a native of Kentucky and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, where he played on the Freshman tennis team. He has played competitive tennis his whole life and currently competes at the NTRP 4.5 level in Madison. He has held numerous tennis teaching positions in the past.

Both Eileen and Tim are students of Platform Tennis, play at an advanced level, and are competent instructors of the sport. They will both be available for individual and group instruction by appointment.

On learning Platform Tennis, Eileen says: "Platform Tennis is easier to learn than Tennis, but I was clueless my first few years because I didn't understand the screens or corner play. Someone new to the sport can pick it up much more quickly once these fundamentals are demonstrated."
