As one of the first brewing cities west of the Alleghenies, Madison brewed great beer from 1823-1918.
With 2018 marking the 100th Anniversary, the Wade brothers launched Mad Paddle, honoring Madison’s rich brewing heritage and bringing craft beer back to Madison.
We transformed a feed mill, built in the late 1800s, into our brewery and taproom. Since opening our doors in 2018, beer lovers from near and far have come by for our freshly brewed beer, guest taps, good food, and fun times.
