Kentucky Common
Medicine Man Elixir (Small Batch Ltd)
7.9% ABV | 19.0 IBU
Kentucky Common (KC), also sometimes called “Dark Cream Ale,” was once an extremely popular regional style centered around Louisville, Kentucky. In 1919, 75% of beer sold in the vicinity of Falls City was KC.
It's most feverish popularity was among the laboring class. It went to market while still fermenting in the cask, giving it a complete turnaround — brewery to consumer — of only 6 to 8 days.
Brewed by Tonie Wycoff, with help from Mad Craft Home Brew Society with Dr. Pat Stack’s Recipe.
